SISS Station Systems Technician - Level 4

Join Telent's Engineering Team to innovate and develop solutions that impact national infrastructure. This high-performing team handles complex and critical tasks, contributing to the maintenance of the nation's essential services.

Role Overview:

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the Station Systems Technician will perform planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on CCTV, CIS, PA, and SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The position is based at Pirin Court Depot near Canning Town, working permanent night shifts from Sunday to Thursday, 10 pm to 6 am.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist qualified technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens.
• Attend to planned, remedial, and corrective maintenance tasks.
• Maintain SISS assets and report station communication faults.
• Utilize field IT equipment for real-time maintenance data.
• Coordinate with Telent Service Centre regarding tasks and fault updates.

Candidate Profile:

This entry-level role is suitable for hands-on individuals who enjoy multi-tasking and learning. Experience in a similar role or knowledge of Network Rail health & safety procedures is advantageous.

Essential Requirements:

• Background in CCTV, IP networking, or electrical systems.
• Proficiency with O365 and IT awareness.
• Problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Availability to work nights at Pirin Court Service Centre.
