SISS Station Systems Technician - Level 4 London, United Kingdom (On-site)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working with technical experts committed to impactful work. Be part of a high-performing team maintaining the nation's critical infrastructure.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the technician will perform planned preventative maintenance and assist with reactive repairs on CCTV, CIS, PA, SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role involves working permanent nights from 10pm to 6am, Sunday to Thursday, at our Pirin Court Depot near Canning Town.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens
• Attend to planned, remedial, and corrective maintenance tasks
• Maintain SISS assets and report station communication faults
• Use field IT equipment for maintenance data
• Coordinate with Telent Service Centre for tasks and updates

Candidate Profile:

This entry-level role suits hands-on individuals eager to learn, with experience or understanding of Network Rail health & safety procedures. The technician should have a background in CCTV, IP networking, or electrical work, good IT skills, problem-solving abilities, and a full UK driving license. The role requires working nights at Pirin Court Service Centre.
