Job summary

Seccl is seeking an experienced Operations delivery lead to join our Pensions operations team in a hybrid role based in Bath or Edinburgh. You will lead the operational delivery of SIPP and ISA products, building scalable processes and controls with Product and Engineering to ensure compliant, customer‑centric delivery.

Reporting to the Head of payments & reporting, you’ll manage a team of operations analysts, own SLAs/SLOs, and drive improvements from onboarding through ongoing operations.

Qualifications

• Operational leadership experience within platforms, wealth management or fintechs.
• Experience delivering improvements by partnering with Product/Engineering/Risk to strengthen controls and enable scale.
• Experience leading and developing operational teams through periods of growth and change.
• Experience designing scalable operational processes and operating models.
• SIPP operational expertise with understanding of pension administration processes.
• Understanding regulatory environment shapes pension and investment operations, including Consumer Duty, CASS, pension and ISA obligations.
• Data-driven with MI and metrics to drive decisions.
• Ability to communicate with stakeholders across teams and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end performance of SIPP and ISA operations tax wrappers.
• Lead and develop a growing team of operations specialists, building a culture of ownership and client first delivery.
• Ensure delivery of operational SLAs, SLOs and customer outcomes across all SIPP and ISA processes.
• Build workforce planning, capacity forecasting and resource models to support volume growth.
• Drive operational readiness for new client onboarding and product launches.
• Acting as escalation point for incidents, coordinating response, root cause analysis and lasting fixes.
• Support regulatory reporting activities and ensure appropriate operational oversight.
• Partner with Product/Engineering to improve workflows, automate where possible, enhance controls and reduce operational risk at scale.
