Job summary

Horizon Parking, a leader in UK car park management, is seeking an experienced Projects Coordinator to join our new signage team at the Chelmsford head office. You will become Horizon Parking's signage subject matter expert, owning the central signage catalogue and ensuring compliant, timely deliveries across projects.

Ideal candidates will bring proven project coordination experience, strong organisational skills, and the ability to read and translate technical drawings for installation.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar Project Coordinator/Management role is essential.
• Proficient with job-management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong organisational skills.
• Commercial awareness and attention to detail.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
• Computer literate with experience of using project management tools.
• Ability to read, understand and translate technical drawings for installation purposes.
• Must be able to work on their own initiative as well as supporting other divisions.
• Experience of working to deadlines and prioritizing workloads.

Responsibilities

• Catalogue & Technical Ownership: Own and maintain the central supervised signage catalogue, managing sign types, layouts, legal wording, material specs and version histories.
• Compliance & Legal Alignment: Apply BPA Code of Practice and site contracts knowledge; liaise with Legal and Compliance for approvals.
• Order Specification & Proof Sign-Off: Review installation requests, determine sign types, dimensions and overlays; approve proofs before manufacturing.
• Bespoke Project Support: Partner with Project Delivery Managers on complex sites, producing compliant artwork and coordinating deliveries.
• Quality & Version Control: Conduct multi-stage checks, manage changes, audit installations against site plans.
• Systems, Readiness & Cost Control: Maintain auditable records in Freshservice; confirm readiness and minimize waste.
