Horizon Parking Ltd is expanding and recruiting a Signage Coordinator to manage and sign off all car park signage across nationwide installations. The role requires ownership of the central signage catalogue, close collaboration with Project Delivery Managers, Legal teams and suppliers, and strict adherence to BPA Code of Practice and contractual standards.

The role

Working closely with the Signage Programming Manager, Legal Team, Signage Team Administrator, Signage Installation Manager and approved suppliers, the successful applicant will review each job, confirm the signage requirement, prepare accurate order details, and ensure the correct signs or overlays are produced and available for installation. Accuracy, version control, and clear records are central to the role, as errors in wording, specification, quantity, or delivery could affect compliance, customer outcomes, cost, and programme delivery.

What are we looking for?

Signage Coordinator to act as our technical subject‑matter expert for all car park signage, overlays, legal wording, and material specifications across nationwide installations.
A highly methodical, detail‑driven technical coordinator to own the central signage catalogue, review site briefs, ensure strict British Parking Association (BPA) and legal compliance, and formally sign off supplier artwork proofs before production.
Someone who can collaborate with Project Managers, Legal teams, and suppliers to deliver compliant, error‑free signage solutions while keeping costs and lead times under control.

Key Responsibilities

Catalogue & Technical Ownership: Own and maintain the central controlled signage catalogue-managing approved sign types, layouts, legal wording, material specifications, and version histories to prevent obsolete items from being ordered.
Compliance & Legal Alignment: Apply working knowledge of the BPA Code of Practice, statutory legislation, and site contracts to ensure correct legal and operational wording; liaise with Legal and Compliance teams for complex or non-standard sign approvals.
Order Specification & Proof Sign-Off: Review installation requests to determine exact sign types, fixings, dimensions, and overlays. Take full responsibility for checking, approving, and signing off supplier production proofs before manufacturing begins.
Bespoke Project Support: Partner with Project Delivery Managers on complex or custom sites‑producing compliant artwork, managing production requirements, and coordinating on‑time deliveries.
Quality & Version Control: Conduct rigorous multi‑stage checks to eliminate errors, manage change notifications to suppliers, and audit completed installations against original site plans.
Systems, Readiness & Cost Control: Keep accurate, auditable records in Freshservice; confirm job readiness with the Installation team; and minimise waste through effective use of overlays and standardized specifications.

Skills & Knowledge Required

Strong background in signage, print, Point of Sale (POS), compliance administration, procurement, or technical project coordination where precision is essential.
Proven experience managing controlled document versioning, product catalogues, or complex material specifications.
Demonstrated experience checking detailed production proofs and liaising directly with suppliers and print manufacturers.
High level of attention to detail with the ability to interpret legal, regulatory (BPA Code of Practice), or contractual standards and apply them to physical signage.
Strong commercial awareness with an understanding of how lead times, material specifications, and sign errors impact operational delivery and budgets.
Proficient with job-management systems (such as Freshservice) and Microsoft Office applications.
