Job summary

Corps Security is seeking a highly skilled SIA Licensed Security Officer to safeguard staff and visitors on site. You will manage access control, conduct site inductions and patrols, and respond to emergencies per escalation procedures with Site Management.

The role runs a 42-hour week on a 4 nights, 4 off rotation (18:00–06:00). It includes a suite of benefits from a Living Wage partner and strong pension to training support and career progression.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus.
• A valid SIA Front-Line License - essential.
• Confidence to establish and maintain effective working relationships at all levels.
• Ability to work to deadlines, multitasking and under pressure.
• Excellent IT skills including Microsoft software (e.g. Excel).
• Able to achieve vetting to BS7858 Standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain overall surveillance of the site, carrying out regular patrols and recording these per requirements.
• Ensure all visitors and contractors are briefed, sign in and out.
• Record entry/exit of deliveries and process paperwork to site procedures.
• Ensure patrols are carried out to required standards.
• Set/unset primary and secondary alarm systems for out-of-hours security if applicable.
• Complete daily logs, shift handovers, incident records and site reports.
• Familiarise yourself with Assignment Instructions, Risk Assessments and other safety documents; advise on changes.
• Keep training records up to date, including first aid and fire marshal training.
• Perform ad hoc duties as directed.
