Job summary

Corps Security is seeking a vigilant SIA licensed Security Officer to protect staff and visitors on-site. You will control access, conduct inductions and patrols, while adhering to site procedures and escalation paths with management and emergency services.

The role involves a 42-hour week on night shifts (4 on, 4 off) starting at 1900, with responsibilities spanning alarm systems, visitor management and incident reporting. Candidates must hold front-line SIA license.

Qualifications

• Valid SIA Front‑Line License is essential.
• Valid SIA CCTV License is desirable.
• Excellent communication and strong customer focus.
• Able to achieve vetting to BS7858 standards.
• Proficient IT skills including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Maintain overall surveillance of the site and patrols; record activity.
• Brief visitors and contractors; sign in/out processes.
• Record entry/exit of deliveries and file paperwork as per procedures.
• Set and unset alarm systems for out-of-hours security where applicable.
• Complete daily occurrence logs, handover notes and site reports.
• Follow Assignment Instructions, Risk Assessments and safety documents.
