Job summary

Corps Security is seeking a highly skilled SIA licensed Security Officer to protect staff and visitors on site. You will conduct access control, site inductions, and routine patrols, following escalation procedures in emergencies.

The role involves 48 hours per week, night shifts (4 on / 4 off, 19:00–07:00). The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, strong customer focus, and IT skills including Excel.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus.
• A valid SIA Front‑Line License – essential.
• A valid SIA CCTV License – desirable.
• Ability to establish and maintain good relationships at all levels.
• Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Excel.
• Able to meet deadlines, multitask and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Maintain overall surveillance of the site with regular patrols and logging.
• Ensure visitors and contractors are briefed, signed in/out.
• Record deliveries and process paperwork per site procedures.
• Set and unset primary/secondary alarm systems for out-of-hours security.
• Follow waste management procedures and complete site reports.
• Keep training records current, including first aid and fire marshal training.
• Uphold high professionalism and display SIA license at all times.
• Perform ad hoc duties as directed.
