Job summary

Corps Security is seeking a highly skilled SIA licensed Security Officer to protect staff and visitors on-site. You will enforce access control, conduct inductions, and carry out patrols with robust incident recording. The role includes night shifts averaging 42 hours per week (4 on, 4 off) starting at 19:00.

You will work within a trusted team, uphold site procedures, and maintain professional conduct while ensuring security and safety across the premises.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus.
• A valid SIA Front-Line License - essential.
• A valid SIA CCTV License - desirable.
• Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to achieve vetting to BS7858 standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain overall surveillance of the site and perform regular patrols as required.
• Ensure visitors and contractors are briefed, signed in/out, and escorted as needed.
• Record entry/exit of deliveries and process paperwork per site procedures.
• Set and unset alarm systems for out-of-hours security where applicable.
• Complete daily occurrence logs, handovers, incident records and site reports.
• Follow Assignment Instructions, risk assessments and safety documents; liaise with management as needed.
• Maintain training records and ensure up-to-date first aid and fire marshal training.
• Demonstrate professionalism and display SIA licence at all times.
• Perform ad hoc duties as directed.
