Job summary

Corps Security is seeking a highly skilled SIA Licensed Security Officer to provide a secure environment on site. You will perform access control, inductions, and planned and ad-hoc patrols, working nights on a 48-hour average week (4 nights, 4 off) from 18:30 to 06:30.

The role requires excellent communication, a valid SIA Front-Line License, and the ability to work under pressure while ensuring safety and security standards are met.

Qualifications

• Valid SIA Front-Line License is essential.
• Excellent communication and customer focus are required.
• IT skills including Microsoft Excel are desirable.
• Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure.
• Vetting to BS7858 standards is expected.

Responsibilities

• Maintain site surveillance with regular patrols and recording per requirements.
• Brief and sign in visitors and contractors on site.
• Process paperwork for deliveries and sign-in logs.
• Ensure patrols are carried out to standard.
• Set and unset alarms for out-of-hours security when needed.
• Follow waste management procedures and complete site reports.
• Maintain training records and keep SIA skills up to date.
• Display SIA license at all times and perform ad hoc duties as directed.
