Job summary

Corps Security is seeking a highly skilled SIA Licensed Security Officer to provide a secure environment for staff and visitors on site. You will enforce robust access control, conduct site inductions and patrols, and follow escalation procedures with Site Management and emergency services.

You will work an average of 64 hours per week with day shifts: Mon-Thurs 10:00–23:00 and Sat 07:00–19:00. The role requires maintaining high professionalism and strong customer focus at all times.

Qualifications

• Valid SIA Front-Line License is essential.
• SIA CCTV License is desirable.
• Excellent communication and customer focus.
• Proficient IT skills including Microsoft Office.
• Able to vet to BS7858 standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain overall surveillance of the site with regular patrols and record updates as required.
• Brief and sign in all visitors and contractors on site.
• Record delivery entries/exits and process paperwork per site procedures.
• Carry out patrols to required standards and respond to alarms.
• Set and unset primary and secondary alarm systems for out-of-hours security where applicable.
• Follow site waste management procedures.
• Complete daily occurrence logs, shift handovers, incident and site reports.
• Familiarise with Assignment Instructions, Risk Assessments, and other quality & safety documents; advise on improvements.
• Maintain training records via Corps Colleague Portal, keep first aid and fire marshal training up to date.
• Apply SIA skills professionally at all times; display licence.
• Perform ad hoc duties as required.
