Pilgrim's Europe in Westerleigh, BS37 8QZ is seeking a reliable Shunter Driver to join our Despatch team. You will move trailers between the trailer park and loading bays using a Terberg unit, supporting efficient loading and dispatch.

This role is outdoors, full-time, with full training provided. You must have previous shunting or lorry driving experience, strong safety awareness, good communication, and the ability to work safely in a busy environment.

Responsabilidades

• Move trailers safely between the trailer park and loading bays.
• Carry out daily tug and trailer inspections and report defects.
• Ensure vehicles are fuelled and refuel when required.
• Monitor temperatures of refrigeration units.
• Coordinate with despatch, yard, goods-in and wash teams.
• Coordinate HGV movements around site.
• Maintain clean loading bay and yard areas.
• Adhere to Health & Safety and company procedures.
• Complete all required paperwork accurately and on time.

Shunter Driver Westerleigh, BS37 8QZ Monday to Friday 05:00-13:30

Pilgrim's Europe is looking for a reliable and safety-focused Shunter Driver to join our Despatch team at Westerleigh. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe movement of trailers around site using a Terberg unit, ensuring operations run efficiently and on schedule. Working outdoors, you will play a key part in supporting our loading and dispatch activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Move trailers safely between the trailer park and loading bays.
• Carry out daily tug and trailer inspections and report defects.
• Ensure vehicles are correctly fuelled and refuel when required.
• Monitor temperatures of refrigeration units.
• Liaise with despatch, yard, goods-in and wash teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Coordinate HGV movements around site.
• Maintain clean and tidy loading bay and yard areas.
• Adhere to all Health & Safety, Hygiene and Company procedures.
• Complete all required paperwork accurately and on time.
