Job summary

Bassetts, part of the Wolseley Group, is seeking a Showroom Consultant in Londonderry to advise customers on bathroom solutions, create bespoke plans and drive sales. You’ll use design software to produce 2D/3D visuals and build relationships with retail clients and trade professionals.

This full-time role offers a £30,000 base salary plus commission and bonus, a generous benefits package, and opportunities to develop skills through the Wolseley Talent Guild.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a retail sales environment, preferably within the bathroom, kitchen, interior design industry.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with a diverse clientele.
• A self-motivated and results-driven individual with a proactive approach to sales.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Design Consultation & Sales: Proactively engage with customers to understand their needs, style preferences, and budget. Guide them through our extensive product range, offering expert advice and design solutions to create bespoke bathroom plans.
• Achieve Sales Targets: Drive sales to meet and exceed individual and showroom targets. Prepare and present compelling quotations, follow up and close sales effectively.
• 3D Design: Utilise the latest bathroom design software (e.g., Virtual Worlds) to create detailed and realistic 2D and 3D visualisations of bathroom projects.
• Product Knowledge: Maintain an in-depth and up-to-date knowledge of our entire product portfolio, including sanitaryware, brassware, furniture, tiles, and accessories. Stay informed about new products and industry developments.
• Customer Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong relationships with retail clients, interior designers, architects, and trade professionals to encourage repeat business and referrals.
• Showroom Excellence: Contribute to the immaculate presentation of the showroom, ensuring all displays are inspiring, on-trend, and reflect our brand's high standards.
