Job summary

B&Q Bishop Auckland is seeking a Showroom Advisor to help customers realise home improvement ideas. You’ll discuss needs, recommend finance and installation options, and use design software to visualise projects in-store and online.

You’ll work to sales targets, collaborate with colleagues and installers, and manage multiple projects. A rota including weekends and bank holidays is required, with competitive pay and potential bonuses.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Motivated by targets and able to convert designs into sales.
• Flexible to work weekends, evenings and bank holidays.

Responsibilities

• Ask questions and explore possibilities to recommend finance, products and installation options.
• Use software to produce inspirational designs for customer projects.
• Coordinate multiple projects and support customers virtually and face to face.
• Take customers on a journey from inspirational ideas through to delivery.
