Job summary

B&Q Milton Keynes is seeking a Showroom Advisor on a part-time basis. You’ll help customers realise kitchen and bathroom ideas, discussing finance, products, and installation options while using design software to create inspirational concepts.

The role emphasizes strong communication, teamwork with colleagues and installers, and a flexible rota that includes weekends, evenings, and bank holidays.

Qualifications

• You’re great at using technology but more importantly you’ll have brilliant communication and relationship building skills as you’ll work closely with colleagues & installers to ensure we deliver the best service on every project.
• You’re motivated by targets, and are confident in converting your designs into sales.
• You work well as part of a team and you’re a good problem-solver too, with a keen eye for design.
• You’re flexible enough to work on a rota that includes weekends, evenings, and bank holidays.

Responsibilities

• Sales focus with customer guidance to recommend finance, products, and installation options.
• Use software to produce inspirational designs that bring customer projects to life.
• Coordinate multiple projects and support customers virtually and face to face.
• Take customers on a journey from inspirational ideas through to delivery.
