Job summary

Saga PLC is seeking a Destination Experience Executive to develop shore excursions and destination experiences across river and ocean cruise programmes. You’ll manage the full lifecycle from research and product development to supplier contracting, commercial planning and operational delivery.

You will negotiate contracts, monitor performance, and collaborate with itinerary planners to ensure exceptional guest experiences. The role is hybrid, with global supplier engagement and occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Experience in travel industry roles; ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Strong organisational and multi-tasking skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication, influencing and interpersonal skills for stakeholder management.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills with a proactive, results-focused approach.
• Strong commercial awareness; negotiating experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and develop shore excursions and experiences across Saga's cruise programmes.
• Negotiate and contract shore excursions and suppliers; manage costs and margins.
• Coordinate with itinerary planners and Explore Ashore teams to enhance guest experience.
• Brief marketing and content teams; ensure accurate destination and excursion information.
• Monitor pricing and programme performance to achieve budget targets.
