Job summary

Wenzel’s the Bakers invites applications for a Shop Supervisor role in Salisbury. You will supervise daily operations, assist the Shop Manager, and lead a team to deliver high-quality food products and excellent customer service.

We offer a competitive £13.00 per hour rate, a 39-hour week over five days, and flexible scheduling where possible. Full training and progression opportunities are provided within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a retail or customer service environment at supervisory level is required.
• Experience working in food production would be advantageous but not essential as full ongoing training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and create an inviting experience.
• Receive and check daily deliveries.
• Assist with branch stock and produce management.
• Maintain shop displays and product knowledge.
• Prepare food in line with company standards.
• Ensure food quality and hygiene compliance.
• Work well in a team and support the shop manager.
• Handle cash and tills and support opening/closing duties.
• Drive sales and minimise wastage.
• Lead shifts and oversee staff performance.
