Job summary

Time Appointments on behalf of a leading Freight Forwarding company in Felixstowe is seeking a Customer Service Executive. You will liaise with customers regarding bookings and ensure details are captured accurately and promptly.

This role suits candidates with shipping or logistics experience, or graduates with a keen interest in the industry, and you will work with Word and Excel while supporting sales and credit control processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in shipping, logistics or freight industry preferred.
• Customer-focused with ability to liaise with customers and internal teams.
• Proficient with Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service to clients throughout the shipping process.
• Liaise with customers, suppliers and key operational teams.
• Support sales and commercial activities where required.
• Process operational and commercial documentation accurately.
• Follow credit control procedures and company guidelines.
• Assist with file accruals and provisioning processes.
• Resolve customer queries and operational issues efficiently.
• Work in line with company policies, procedures and standards.
