Job summary

Azenta UK, Ltd. is seeking a Shipping Coordinator to manage parcel and freight shipments, ensuring timely delivery and compliance from the onsite site in Wotton, Nr Dorking.

You will coordinate returns, manage import/export paperwork, quote costs, and liaise with Sales, Customer Service, Warehouse, and Finance to resolve shipping queries. The role requires strong Excel skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and experience with ERP/WMS systems (Oracle Cloud preferred).

Qualifications

• Experience in shipping, freight or logistics coordination, ideally in manufacturing or regulated environments.
• Strong knowledge of import/export documentation and trade/customs compliance.
• Excellent Excel skills and data handling experience.
• Experience with ERP/WMS systems such as Oracle Cloud is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Book and coordinate all parcel and freight shipments, selecting the best carrier for cost, speed and compliance.
• Handle shipments for all returns and ensure accurate order fulfilment.
• Maintain delivery schedules and proactively chase due dates to avoid slippage.
• Track shipment costs and document savings opportunities for reporting.
