Confidential, Northamptonshire-based manufacturer, is seeking a Shipping Coordinator to manage inbound and outbound shipments, prepare shipping and customs documentation, and coordinate third-party logistics. You will liaise with Customer Service, Sales and Production to ensure on-time delivery.

You will maintain shipping records, support OTIF performance, handle Dangerous Goods regulations, and assist with returns.

Qualifications

• Experience in shipping, logistics coordination or supply chain operations.
• Knowledge of Dangerous Goods shipping requirements is advantageous.
• Strong IT skills, especially MS Office.
• Experience with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics AX is beneficial.
• Excellent communication skills with internal teams and customers.
• Strong organisational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proactive, solution-focused and collaborative mindset.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments of goods and materials.
• Prepare shipping, customs and Dangerous Goods documentation accurately.
• Manage haulier and logistics bookings and monitor delivery progress.
• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve shipment issues.
• Review raw material orders for stock, pricing and delivery schedules.
• Organise orders by courier, destination and shipping requirements.
• Produce pick sheets, labels and shipment packs.
• Coordinate import/export and third-party logistics activities.
• Maintain shipping records and OTIF monitoring support.
• Assist with returns and despatch activities as needed.
• Ensure compliance with customs and DG regulations (ADR, IATA, IMDG).
