Job summary

Heidelberg Materials UK is seeking a proactive Shipper/Sales Coordinator to join the National Customer Support Centre in Banbury. You will coordinate daily order processing, quotations, and customer communications to keep sales moving and ensure high service levels.

Working with Area Sales Managers and internal teams, you will identify opportunities, resolve queries promptly, and contribute to a positive, customer-focused culture.

Qualifications

• Good numeracy and literacy.
• Strong IT skills including Excel and Word.
• Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive in identifying and pursuing sales opportunities.
• Experience of SAP is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage and action daily call plans.
• Receive, process, and coordinate customer orders accurately.
• Prepare, price, and process quotations.
• Identify opportunities to add value to every customer interaction.
• Proactively pursue sales leads and support business growth.
• Build strong working relationships with Area Sales Managers.
• Resolve customer queries and issues within service levels.
• Maintain high standards of customer care in line with the Heidelberg Materials Service Charter.
• Support the wider team and undertake additional duties as required by your manager.
