Job summary

Heidelberg Materials UK, previously Hanson UK, is hiring a Customer Account Coordinator for their Syston site. The role focuses on handling orders, sales administration, and delivering high-quality customer service while coordinating with internal departments to meet KPIs.

You will be responsible for managing pricing, order progression, invoicing, and cross-functional communication to ensure a seamless customer journey. A strong background in SAP and Excel is preferred.

Qualifications

• GCSE 4+ (or equivalent) in Maths and English required.
• Working knowledge of SAP is essential.
• Proficient in Word and Excel for daily administration.

Responsibilities

• Cover all day-to-day orders and sales administration to ensure a smooth customer journey.
• Own key accounts and manage customer orders, invoicing, and related data.
• Collaborate with commercial and operational teams to meet customer needs and KPIs.
• Regularly update customers via portals and ensure accurate pricing and charges.
• Handle disputes, refunds, and amendments in line with policy and deadlines.
• Coach colleagues on processes and support roll-outs and document improvements.
