Overview

Are you a newly qualified pharmacist, or a trainee pharmacist hoping to qualify in 2026 and are looking for a challenge and a great start to your career? Are you ambitious, confident and enthusiastic? Then join NUH as one of our shift working pharmacists! We have a well‑established band 6 pharmacist training programme which is proven to develop your skills and knowledge and provide an excellent springboard to any avenue of pharmacy going forward. This programme will involve you working within a large but friendly and motivated shift working pharmacist team whilst being supported by experienced senior staff.

Responsibilities
  • Provision of the Out‑Of‑Hours Pharmacy Services at NUH, working in the ‘Trust Pharmacy’ as part of a 100‑hour contract along with shifts providing clinical pharmacy services to NUH inpatients at Queen’s Medical Centre and City Hospital.
  • Working shifts in our ‘Trust Pharmacy’ and receiving remote support and advice from senior pharmacists.

  • Newly qualified pharmacist or trainee pharmacist hoping to qualify in 2026.
