Job summary

YMCA Robin Hood Group in Nottingham is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead a dedicated team of Housing Duty Workers across our city centre accommodation. You will ensure high operational standards, support staff, and foster a culture of excellence.

The role involves managing 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a 2-week rolling rota and shifts from 8am–4pm or 3pm–11pm. A car and UK driving license are required for travel between locations.

Qualifications

• Experience in leading a team or supervisor role.
• Ability to conduct 1-2-1s and appraisals.
• Willingness to travel between locations and manage rotas.

Responsibilities

• Support your team with operational challenges.
• Conduct 1-2-1s and annual appraisals.
• Act as an escalation point for queries.
• Facilitate activities and events for residents.
• Ensure compliance with processes.
