Job summary

JDSports in Luton is seeking a capable Supervisor to help run the shop floor, deliver high service standards, and support colleagues across shifts. You will coach the team, model customer-focused behaviours, and help maintain presentation aligned with brand guidelines.

In this role you will assist with opening/closing procedures, till operations, stock presentation, and daily store tasks while promoting strong teamwork and a proactive, positive store culture.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or team-leader experience in fast-paced retail or customer-facing environments.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to guide and support colleagues on the shop floor.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to uphold high standards in service, presentation, and store operations.
• Strong interest in retail, solid product and trend awareness, and the ability to promote company values and behaviours.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service by supporting customers, resolving queries, and ensuring team presentation meets brand expectations.
• Support sales performance by monitoring service levels, using in-store devices to offer the full product range, and assisting with effective product placement.
• Maintain strong visual and operational standards by keeping the shop floor clean, organised, and aligned with brand standards and company expectations.
• Assist with daily operational duties including opening and closing procedures, cashing up, and supporting accurate till operations.
