Job summary

JD Sports Fashion PLC in Rushden is seeking a proactive Supervisor to help run the shop floor and uphold the high service standards our customers expect. You will support colleagues across shifts, assist with opening/closing, till operations, and ensure presentation matches brand guidelines.

You should have previous supervisory or team-leader experience in fast-paced retail, strong communication, attention to detail, and a genuine enthusiasm for retail trends.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or team-leader experience in fast-paced retail or customer-facing environments.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to guide and support colleagues on the shop floor.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to uphold high standards in service, presentation, and store operations.
• Strong interest in retail, product trends, and promoting brand values and behaviours.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service by assisting customers, resolving queries, and ensuring team presentation meets brand expectations.
• Support sales performance by monitoring service levels, using in-store devices to offer the full product range, and assisting with product placement.
• Maintain strong visual and operational standards by keeping the shop floor clean, organised, and aligned with brand standards and company expectations.
• Assist with daily operational duties including opening and closing procedures, cashing up, and supporting accurate till operations.

This is JD. Are you in? Role Overview As a Supervisor, you play a key role in supporting the smooth running of the shop floor and delivering the high service standards our customers expect. You play an active role in supporting colleagues throughout each shift, helping to maintain high standards of service, presentation and store performance. You’ll also support daily operational tasks as directed by Store Management. Key Responsibilities
