Job summary

DPD Group is recruiting a Shift Manager to strengthen our depot operations. You will lead a high-performing team, ensuring safety, quality and efficiency while achieving targets on collections, returns and early volume.

You will manage day-to-day staffing, drive ISO procedures, and collaborate with drivers and warehouse operatives to deliver a world-class service across a busy UK depot.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and leadership experience in a fast-paced operation.
• Decisive, with problem-solving and time-management skills.
• Resilient, self-motivated and flexible; able to adapt to change.
• Excellent computer skills with Google Chrome applications and reporting/data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead depot operations to meet performance targets.
• Ensure compliance with company and legislative requirements.
• Oversee HR tasks and responsibilities and team development.
• Oversee accurate processing of Collections and Returns to the Depot.
• Monitor and report on collections and ETA targets; drive improvements.
