Job summary

DPD Group is seeking an experienced PM Shift Manager to strengthen depot operations. You will lead a fast-paced team of Drivers and Warehouse Operatives, ensure on-time trailer departures, accurate parcel scanning, and timely handling of collections, returns, and customer queries.

You will drive performance through clear leadership, robust reporting, and adherence to ISO processes, while upholding DPD values and ensuring compliance across the depot.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to inspire and manage a team.
• Decisive, problem-solving and time management abilities.

• Excellent computer skills and ability to use Google Chrome applications.
• Ability to produce reports and analyse data.

Responsibilities

• Oversee depot operations to meet objectives in terms of operational, compliance, financial, customer service and HR tasks.
• Work closely with Drivers and Warehouse Operatives. Oversee processing of Collections and Returns and handle inbound customer service queries efficiently.
• Ensure trailer departures from Depot and customer sites are on time.
• Ensure all parcels are collection scanned and depot targets are met.
• Analyse and update all relevant systems and reports in a timely manner.
