Job summary

Iceland Foods in the United Kingdom is looking for a committed Shift Manager to support the store management team and deliver consistent results. You will start as a Retail Assistant and receive a £2 supplement for every hour you shift manage the store.

This role focuses on driving availability, sales, customer service and team engagement, with a path to leadership through hands-on coaching and adherence to store processes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a retail management or supervisory role.
• Communicates effectively with every colleague to deliver store tasks first time, every time.
• Plans and organises the shift, using every member of the team.
• Provides balanced feedback when needed to improve the performance of every colleague.
• Sets the pace of the team, when on shift, by being hands on to deliver a great store.

Responsibilities

• Maximise profit by ensuring great product availability for customers.
• Play an active role in store to “sell a £1 & save a £1” to drive sales.
• Deliver on all actions set by your line manager.
