Job summary

Heron Foods in Sheffield is seeking a hands-on Shift Manager to lead the store's daily operations. With 36 hours a week, you will energise the team, ensure excellent service and maintain high store standards during your shift.

Location: Birley Moor Road, Sheffield. Salary £13 per hour. You will act as keyholder, manage stock, open and close the store, and support deliveries while delivering value and a great customer experience.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Shift Manager, you'll play a central role in the store's daily operations. Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading and motivating the team during your shift to maintain high store standards


• Providing excellent customer service and confidently handling customer queries


• Keeping the store well-presented and fully stocked


• Supporting stock deliveries and efficient stockroom management


• Acting as a keyholder, with responsibility for store opening and closing
