Job summary

Heron Foods is seeking a confident Shift Manager to lead a busy Clock Face store in St Helens. This full-time role (36 hours/week) offers hands-on leadership, daily decision-making, and a focus on delivering great value and service to customers.

You'll motivate the team, manage stock, ensure store standards, and act as keyholder for opening and closing. Sales targets, customer queries, and smooth operations come with responsibility and rewards in a fast-paced retail environment.

Pay: £13 per hour

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Shift Manager, you'll play a central role in the store’s daily operations. Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading and motivating the team during your shift to maintain high store standards
• Providing excellent customer service and confidently handling customer queries
• Keeping the store well-presented and fully stocked
• Supporting stock deliveries and efficient stockroom managementActing as a keyholder, with responsibility for store opening and closing
