Job summary

PX Group is recruiting for a Shift Manager to lead Tees REP Operations, ensuring safe, compliant plant performance across shifts. You will coordinate with day teams, maintain COS compliance and drive continuous improvement in operations and safety.

The role includes mentoring shift staff, supporting CoW and risk assessments, and acting as the site focal point for operations. A strong leadership background in high-hazard environments is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include professional engineering/maintenance qualifications.
• NEBOSH General Certificate is preferred.
• Experience leading shift-based operations in high-hazard environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead Tees REP Operations shift teams to deliver safe, compliant operations.
• Act as Control Person for site, owning shift operations.
• Ensure delivery of plant operations within COS and KPI targets.
• Supervise, develop and mentor shift-based staff for capability and compliance.
• Support CoW processes and permit-to-work during high-priority periods.
• Lead incident investigations and site-wide safety improvements.
