Job summary
Pioneer Selection Ltd is recruiting a Senior Plant Operations Technician for our flagship process manufacturing site in Kent. You will support safe, efficient, and compliant operation of our energy-from-waste plant, reporting to the Shift Manager and coordinating activities while supervising contractors.
The role requires hands-on experience with large industrial plant, strong HSE knowledge, and the ability to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Experience in heavy industrial, process manufacturing, power generation, waste management or similar environments.
- Supervising or coordinating operational teams and contractors.
- Strong understanding of health, safety and environmental procedures.
Responsibilities
- Support safe and efficient operation of the plant.
- Coordinate contractor activities and ensure site safety procedures.
- Supervise and support operational teams across the facility.
- Operate and monitor plant equipment through the control system and on-site.
- Assist with plant isolations and support maintenance activities.
- Monitor health, safety and environmental performance across the site.
- Participate in incident investigations, audits and improvement projects.
- Support training and development of operational personnel.
