Job summary

Iron Mountain is seeking a dynamic Warehousing & Logistics Shift Manager to join our Operations team. In this role, you’ll lead daily shift operations, safeguard our customers’ most vital physical assets, and balance hands-on leadership with strategic resource planning to ensure the operation runs safely, smoothly, and efficiently.

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)

In this role, you will:

• Lead shift operations: Oversee daily warehouse processes including the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods to meet service levels.

• Develop operational teams: Coach, mentor, and build an engaged, high‑performing workforce focused on safety and quality.

• Manage resources and performance: Plan daily staffing, track key operational KPIs, and manage shift costs to meet demand.

• Maintain safety and compliance: Conduct workplace inspections and ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and security protocols.

• Drive operational efficiency: Resolve daily process bottlenecks and implement practical continuous improvement initiatives.

What You’ll Bring (Skills & Qualifications)

The ideal candidate will have:

• Several years of experience in shift management or supervision within a fast‑paced 3PL warehouse or distribution environment.

• Strong knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), workforce planning, and operational KPI tracking.

• Proven team leadership skills with a track record of coaching employees and building strong team engagement.

• Demonstrated problem‑solving abilities to resolve operational challenges under pressure.
