Job summary

Iron Mountain is seeking a dynamic Warehousing & Logistics Shift Manager to join our Operations team. You’ll lead daily shift operations that safeguard our customers' assets, empower a high‑performing team, and optimise quality, productivity and continuous improvement across the warehouse.

The role balances hands‑on leadership with strategic resource planning, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient operation day‑to‑day.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in shift management or supervision within a fast-paced 3PL warehouse or distribution environment.
• Strong knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), workforce planning, and operational KPI tracking.
• Proven team leadership skills with a track record of coaching employees and building strong team engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift operations: Oversee daily warehouse processes including the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods to meet service levels.
• Develop operational teams: Coach, mentor, and build an engaged, high-performing workforce focused on safety and quality.
• Manage resources and performance: Plan daily staffing, track key operational KPIs, and manage shift costs to meet demand.
• Maintain safety and compliance: Conduct workplace inspections and ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and security protocols.
• Drive operational efficiency: Resolve daily process bottlenecks and implement practical continuous improvement initiatives.
