Job summary
Dr. Oetker (UK) Ltd. Leyland site seeks a Maintenance Shift Supervisor to lead the shift engineering team, ensuring safe, reliable and efficient maintenance across operations.
You will drive planned maintenance, manage breakdowns, and maintain high engineering standards with clear communication and strong leadership. Ideal candidates are time-served engineers with experience leading on shift and a solid background in CMMS/SAP PM, capable of balancing safety, quality and production priorities in
Qualifications
- Time-served multi-skilled engineer or equivalent engineering background.
- Experience leading or mentoring engineering teams on shift.
- Practical experience in fast-paced manufacturing, food or FMCG environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate shift maintenance activities to support safe, legal and quality-compliant production.
- Ensure breakdowns, planned maintenance, changeovers and interventions are completed effectively and communicated across shifts.
- Drive completion of planned maintenance, statutory checks and corrective actions with SAP PM and CMMS.
- Coach and hold engineers to high safety, technical and conduct standards.
- Manage handovers, spare usage, work orders and safe systems of work.
