Job summary

Dr. Oetker (UK) Ltd. in Leyland is seeking a Maintenance Shift Engineer to join the Maintenance team at our Leyland site.

You will respond to equipment failures, carry out planned and preventative maintenance, and help move from reactive to proactive, data-driven asset care. The role requires a time-served apprenticeship in Electrical and/or Mechanical Maintenance Engineering and at least two years post-apprenticeship experience, ideally in food manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Time-served apprenticeship in Electrical and/or Mechanical Maintenance Engineering.
• At least two years post-apprenticeship maintenance experience.
• Proficient in CMMS, Microsoft Office and digital maintenance systems.

Responsibilities

• Respond to breakdowns safely and effectively, restoring equipment quickly.
• Carry out planned and preventative maintenance to improve machine reliability.
• Record accurate work-order history using the CMMS system.
