Job summary

Different Technologies Pty Ltd. in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead the shift maintenance operation, overseeing a small team, prioritising work, and ensuring safe, reliable manufacturing processes.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will drive the PM programme, analyse failures, implement improvements, and collaborate with Production and Engineering to sustain performance and service continuity.

Qualifications

• Qualified engineer with Level 3 NVQ or equivalent engineering qualification.
• Experience in manufacturing environments and fault-finding, prioritising workloads in fast-paced settings.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; understanding of preventative maintenance and health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of Maintenance Engineers, allocating work and maintaining standards.
• Coordinate maintenance across breakdowns, preventive maintenance and work orders.
• Drive PPM programme and monitor maintenance performance metrics.
• Promote safety culture with isolation procedures, permits, risk assessments and safe systems of work.
• Ensure effective shift handovers and operational leadership.

Education

Level 3 NVQ or equivalent engineering qualification
