Pioneer Selection Ltd. is recruiting for a Shift Maintenance Engineer (Nights) in Andover, Hampshire. The role covers electrical and mechanical maintenance on automated production lines during nights, with a focus on uptime, reliability and performance.

We seek hands-on engineers with a Level 3 Engineering qualification (electrical bias preferred), experience with motors/inverters, and strong fault-finding skills. A rewarding package and clear progression are on offer.

Job Title: Shift Maintenance Engineer (Nights)
Location: Andover, Hampshire
Salary: £54,000 (including shift allowance) + annual bonus + excellent benefits
Shift Pattern: Sunday - Thursday PERM NIGHTS

Job Role of the Shift Maintenance Engineer

You will be responsible for carrying out electrical maintenance, fault-finding and planned preventative maintenance on a range of production machinery and site equipment—ensuring maximum uptime, reliability and performance on nights.

Sector - Factory Maintenance (Food/FMCG Manufacturing)

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Shift Maintenance Engineer

• Electrical or mechanical maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment
• Hands-on experience with planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance in a fast-paced factory
• Level 3 Engineering qualification (Electrical preferred / electrical bias)

Requirements for the Shift Maintenance Engineer

• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills (single phase / three phase)
• Experience with motors, inverters and reading/updating electrical & mechanical drawings
• Mechanical competence with pneumatics and hydraulics
• Confident working safely to site procedures (LOTO / Lock-off Tag-out) and H&S standards
• Ability to support continuous improvement and carry out Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
• Comfortable recording/analysing downtime and maintenance data to improve OEE
