Job summary

Hewett Recruitment is seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer for night shifts in Evesham. The role involves maintaining uptime with PPM, fault finding, and continuous improvement within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will diagnose electrical and mechanical faults, complete shift handovers, and work closely with production teams to keep lines running smoothly. Nights are 6pm–6am on a 4-on/4-off pattern.

Qualifications

• Experience as a maintenance engineer in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Strong fault-finding skills for electrical and mechanical systems.
• Experience with planned preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance.

Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Nights)

Evesham | £56,000- £58,213| 4on/4off (6pm - 6am) | Permanent

Are you a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer seeking a well-paid night shift role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment?

Due to continued investment and growth, our client is looking for an experienced engineer to join their established maintenance team. You'll play a key role in keeping production running efficiently through planned maintenance, fault finding and continuous improvement activities.

The Role

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults
• Respond quickly to breakdowns and minimise downtime
• Support continuous improvement and reliability projects
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and shift handovers
• Work closely with production and engineering teams

About You

• Experienced Multi Skilled Engineer, Maintenance Engineer or Shift Engineer
• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
• Background in manufacturing, FMCG or industrial environments
• Experience with PPM and reactive maintenance
• Comfortable working independently and prioritising workload
• Experience with compressors, refrigeration systems, pumps, motors, boilers or other site utilities would be highly advantageous.
