Qualifications

• Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer with strong Mechanical and Electrical experience.
• Minimum recognised engineering qualification (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
• Experience with CMMS systems and engineering documentation.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventive maintenance on production equipment.
• Perform reactive maintenance and fault finding to minimize downtime.
• Lead continuous improvement projects to raise reliability.
• Support multiple production lines and packaging equipment.
• Maintain CMMS records and engineering documentation.

Job Title: Nights Maintenance Engineer

Salary: £48,375 (including 7.5% shift allowance)

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance, fault finding, repairs, and continuous improvement projects across a wide range of production machinery. You will play a key role in ensuring maximum equipment reliability, reducing downtime, and supporting production efficiency through effective maintenance strategies.

The site operates multiple production lines, B2B vessels, and cooking vessels, manufacturing a wide range of products for major retailers and customers.
