Job summary

Tesco Shift Lead roles are available across our stores in the United Kingdom. Pay starts at £15.59 per hour and rises to £16.86 in M25 stores. We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours per week, with some locations offering more.

You’ll be scheduled within available windows, with at least 3 weeks’ notice of shifts, and you must be 18 or over to apply. You will lead the team to deliver a great in-store customer experience, oversee daily operations, and support colleagues across all store areas.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a team lead or management position in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Leading the team to deliver a great in-store customer experience.
• Being the go-to person for day-to-day operational queries across store areas.
• Building positive, inclusive relationships to help colleagues perform at their best.
• Confidently leading the store in the Manager’s absence.
• Coaching colleagues and giving feedback to uphold excellent service.
