Job summary

Premier Inn Inverness East is looking for a Duty Manager to help lead the hotel during shifts and to oversee reception, housekeeping and restaurant coordination, ensuring guests have a great stay.

You’ll spend your day on the floor, coaching teammates, resolving issues, and working with the Hotel Manager to maintain smooth operations. Permanent contracts with guaranteed hours and clear progression opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in busy guest-facing environments.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and make quick decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts across the hotel and deliver clear pre-shift briefings.
• Support and coach team members throughout the day.
• Help guests with questions and sort out problems.
• Jump in to support different teams, from reception to the restaurant.
• Spot issues early and put them right.
• Help keep guests safe and the hotel running the way it should.
• Work closely with the Hotel Manager and wider leadership team.
