Job summary

Whitbread is hiring a Duty Manager for Inverness East Premier Inn. You’ll lead shifts, work across reception, housekeeping and the restaurant to ensure guests have a great stay. Up to 40 hours per week, permanent contract, pay up to £13.86 per hour.

No hotel experience is required; leadership and calm under pressure are valued. You’ll join a team focused on guest satisfaction with clear progression toward Hotel Manager.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in a busy hospitality setting.
• Strong communication and guest service skills.
• Ability to adapt to shift work including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts across the hotel and deliver clear pre-shift briefings.
• Support and coach team members throughout the day.
• Help guests with questions and sort out problems.
• Jump in to support different teams, from reception to the restaurant.
• Spot issues early and put them right.
• Help keep guests safe and the hotel running as it should.
