Job summary

Premier Inn is seeking a Duty Manager in Glasgow (Hamilton) to lead shifts, support guests and coordinate across reception, housekeeping and restaurant teams. You’ll ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction while developing leadership capabilities on the floor.

This fixed-term role offers guaranteed hours and a pathway toward Hotel Manager roles, with training and company benefits provided as part of the Whitbread group.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in busy guest-facing environments.
• Comfort with shift-based, on-floor leadership.
• Willingness to learn hotel operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts across the hotel and deliver clear pre-shift briefings.
• Support and coach team members throughout the day.
• Help guests with questions and sort out problems.
• Jump in to support different teams, from reception to the restaurant.
• Spot issues early and put them right.
• Help keep guests safe and the hotel running.
