Job summary

Prezzo Italian is seeking a Duty Manager to bridge the gap between Waiting Staff and Management. You will lead shifts, open and close the restaurant as a keyholder, and set the tone for service to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience in a hospitality team role (server, supervisor, etc).
• Confidence to lead a team during busy service.
• Strong communication and people skills.
• Knowledge of cash handling and health & safety basics.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the restaurant as keyholder.
• Lead service during shifts in absence of GM/AM.
• Set the tone for service to deliver Hospitality Magic.
• Coordinate handovers and maintain shift communications.
• Assist with cashing up, compliance paperwork, and stock checks.
• Step into a leadership role during busy periods and motivate the team.
• Respond to guest feedback professionally and positively.
• Act as a role model to newer team members and uphold HEART values.
