Prezzo Italian is seeking a Duty Manager to own the shift, open and close the restaurant, and lead the team to deliver exceptional hospitality. You’ll set the tone on the floor, coach staff in real time, and ensure guests leave delighted.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team on the floor in a busy hospitality setting.
• Calm under pressure during peak times, especially Saturday nights.
• People-first approach focused on guest experience and team wellbeing.
• Pride in food and exceptional hospitality, with attention to details.
• Ambition to grow into restaurant management roles.
• Good working knowledge of food safety, licensing and cash handling.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift on the floor, set the pace and standard for hospitality.
• Open and close the restaurant, ensure smooth operations.
• Manage staff on the shift, coach in the moment and delegate when appropriate.
• Ensure consistent food quality and timely delivery of dishes.
• Keep standards high for food safety, allergen procedures, and compliance.
