Job summary

Zizzi is seeking a Restaurant Supervisor or Shift Leader in Exeter to lead hands-on during busy shifts and run the restaurant during quieter periods. You’ll oversee the bar, food pass, or hosting, ensuring smooth operations and high standards while supporting the team and delivering great hospitality.

The role offers a minimum-hour contract with flexible hours, opportunities for progression, and benefits including wage streaming and staff perks.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
• Ability to lead and coach a team during peak times.
• Confident communicator with a lead-by-example attitude.

Responsibilities

• Run the restaurant during quieter periods and ensure smooth operations.
• Lead the Pass, Bar, or Floor to maintain seamless service during peak times.
• Resolve guest issues on the floor with a constructive approach.
• Motivate and develop the Front of House team for standout hospitality.
• Ensure dish presentation, standards, and cleanliness are maintained.
• Keep the restaurant safe, clean, and welcoming for staff and guests.
