Job summary

Tesco is hiring a Shift Lead to help run stores and deliver a great customer experience. You’ll lead the team across store operations, schedule and cover shifts, and act as the on-site leader in the Manager’s absence.

The role offers hourly pay starting at £15.59 and rising to £16.86 in certain locations, with a guaranteed minimum of 16 hours per week and flexible shift options. Training and inclusive environment provided.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a team lead or management position in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Be a strong role model with a passion for delivering great service and ensuring every customer’s needs are met.

Responsibilities

• Leading the team to deliver a great in-store experience for customers.
• Working across all areas of the store and with colleagues; the go-to person for day-to-day operational queries.
• Building positive, inclusive relationships that help colleagues perform at their best.
• Confidently leading the store in the Manager’s absence.
• Making balanced, flexible decisions and adapting well to change.
