Job summary

McDonald’s United Kingdom is launching a Shift Leader Development programme designed to train you into aShift Manager through a structured six-month development path. You will coach employees, monitor operations and drive sales while delivering outstanding customer experiences.

Starting at £14.00 per hour, with a raise to £15.00 after training; night shift 12am–6am adds £2 extra per hour. This role requires working weekdays, weekends, and flexible shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in leading teams in retail, hospitality or customer-focused environments.
• Able to deliver personalised service and connect with customers.
• Strong problem-solving skills and initiative when interacting with colleagues and customers.

Responsibilities

• Display leadership and model customer-focused behaviours to delight customers.
• Lead by example and adapt to customer needs through your team.
• Answer customer queries and keep up to date with knowledge on our food and promotions.
• Monitor operations and support in-store learning during the development programme.
